For books with colorful illustrations, diagrams, or graphics, we recommend gloss or matte art paper. Both provide vibrant color reproduction that will make your visuals stand out. Gloss paper is ideal for books with more graphics and less text, while matte paper works better for books with more text and fewer images. Matte paper offers great color reproduction and is easier to read.
What if I want my recipients to write in the book?
If your book needs to be interactive, such as for notes, forms, or annotations, we suggest using uncoated paper stock. Unlike gloss or matte paper, uncoated paper absorbs ink, making it ideal for writing with pencils, pens, or Sharpies.
